The only things that surprised us a little were the layout of the house and a minor plumbing issue. We weren’t expecting to have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the primary bedroom. It wasn’t a big deal at all since it was just the two of us, but it may have been a little awkward if we had brought our son. This could have easily been an oversight on our part when looking through the pictures, and now we know for next time! We also had some trouble with the toilets flushing. A few times, we had to manually open the back of the toilet and lift the pump so the tank would refill. Again, this wasn’t a major issue for us and didn’t affect our stay, but we wanted to mention it as something future guests may want to be aware of.
