HOUSERULES / FAQ
Boatlift: For insurance reasons, the use of the boat dock and boat lift (if available) is strictly limited to boats rented through Vacation in Florida Inc. Private boats are only permitted with prior submission of valid dock insurance. Guests booking a house with us will receive a 10% discount code for a boat rental at boatrental-capecoral.com.
Electricity consumption: Electricity is not included and will be charged after departure at $0.15 per kWh. Costs depend on the season and the use of air conditioning and pool/spa heating. Average electricity costs for 2 4 guests can range from $50 $100 per week in summer and may be higher in winter due to increased heating needs.
BBQ Cleaning: Cleaning of the grill is not included in the cleaning fee. We ask you to clean the grill yourself after use. Cleaning by our cleaning team will be charged with an additional $50.
Pools and Spas: All pools and spas are heatable. Please note that, for organizational reasons, it is not possible to preheat the pool or spa prior to arrival. Depending on prior use, the pool may still retain some base or residual warmth from previous guests; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Please also note that even in Florida, winter temperatures may drop, which can cause pools to cool down overnight to varying degrees depending on their size. Therefore, consistently high water temperatures cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Cancelation fee: For cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the arrival date; 95% of the grand total will be refunded to the tenant. For cancellations made within 60 days of arrival, no refund will be issued.
Personal On-Site Check-In (Mandatory): For safety, insurance, and legal reasons, a personal on-site check-in on the day after arrival is mandatory. While initial access to the house is provided via code to allow flexible arrival times, we are required to personally verify that the guests present match the booking and to explain important house and safety information on site. The check-in takes place the day after arrival between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The person who made the booking must be present and provide valid identification. This appointment is an essential part of ensuring a safe and compliant stay.
Pets: If a vacation home is listed as pet-friendly, guests may bring pets. The number of pets must be specified during the booking process. A pet fee of $25 per pet, per night applies. If a property is not designated as pet-friendly, pets are not permitted.
Service Animals: Legally recognized service animals are permitted, even in non-pet-friendly properties. However, guests are kindly asked to consider whether a non-pet-friendly property is ultimately suitable for their animal. Service animals do not need to be added during the booking process and are not subject to pet fees.
Emotional Support Animals: Are permitted only for long-term rentals (+30 days) and subject to applicable federal and Florida regulations. Written documentation must be provided prior to booking for verification purposes.
Standard occupancy/overnight guests: Our prices are calculated based on 4 people. Each additional person will be charged $25 plus fees/taxes per night. If you specify more than 4 people at the time of booking, this fee will be taken into account. If the number of people increases after booking or if you receive overnight guests (even for only a few days), you are obliged to register them and pay the fee.
All other house rules and our conditions can be found in our terms and conditions at the end of our booking process.

Beautiful home
Debbie ·
Beautiful home, comfortable furniture in living room spaces (main floor & upstairs). Kitchen very well equipped. All bedrooms/bathrooms very clean and nicely decorated. Pool and outdoor spaces are clean, comfortable and plenty of seating for everyone. Our group was ages 5 to 66 - we all loved our stay. Hosts were accessible and easy to work with.
Villa Grand Paradise - 2025 Family Thanksgiving Vacation
Connie ·
What a beautiful house. This was the 4th Thanksgiving with the family in Cape Coral, Fl. and this was by far the best house. It fit all of our needs. Everyone had their own bedroom which came with a king size bed and their own bathroom. Outside pool area left nothing to want, Kitchen was modern and had everything needed for our Thanksgiving dinner. We have already booked for our 5th Thanksgiving vacation for 2026... Can not go wrong with this beautiful house.
Beautiful home
Cathy ·
Everything was great. A beautiful home which meet all of our needs. Had small children along so the pool was a great place for all of us to spend time together. The Host was very helpful in showing us the amenities of the home.
house was perfect!
Jean ·
Our family had a wonderful time and the house was perfect! Would recommend this location to anyone looking for the perfect home and location. The only thing that I was not aware of was the fee for "electricity use" I received at the end of our stay. I have never experienced this in many years of renting from Vrbo.
Highly recommended!
Melanie ·
The house was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our time at this location and look forward to rebooking in the future. Highly recommended!
It was a great experience.
Christopher ·
It was a great experience. Me and my wife enjoyed the toooooo short stay in this Villa so much. Some days feel like Prince of Bel air. From the big living room to the nice bedrooms. All is very clean and so cute. Watching TV from the Jaccuzi, swimming some lanes in the pool, or have a beer on the seats in the pool. Great idea. Enjoy the sundowner on the smalll river in one of the kajaks. Energizing the soul. We come back, for sure.
