1st Level of the Home:
The first level of this charming stilted home features an open-concept great room that combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one spacious area. It also includes two bedrooms: one with a Queen-sized bed and another with two Twin beds. Since you re vacationing in the Florida Keys, you have the flexibility to dine out or prepare meals in the modern, fully stocked kitchen.
Step out from the living room onto a large deck with outdoor dining space, perfect for enjoying your freshly caught fish while taking in the views of your private heated pool, the canal, and the vibrant Florida Keys sunsets.
2nd Level of the Home:
On the second level, the luxurious master suite beckons with a King-sized bed, ample closet space, and an en-suite bathroom, offering a private retreat where you can unwind in comfort and style.
Outdoor Oasis:
Looking for some shade to relax during a lazy afternoon nap? No problem outside the home, there s a spacious, tropical tiki hut perfect for unwinding. You can also enjoy a private, heated pool (with a fee) and a generous yard that features a gas grill for your cookouts.
For water enthusiasts, the outdoor area includes 30 feet of deepwater dockage with ocean access via Sister Creek, as well as a fish cleaning table and a bait freezer for your fishing needs. You ll also have 4 bikes and 3 kayaks at your disposal to explore the surroundings. Ample parking is available with 4+ spots and space for a boat trailer.
Your pets will love the large, fully fenced yard, and you re just a short distance from Sombrero Beach. The property also boasts a patio area for additional relaxation and privacy.
Max occupancy is the number of occupants the City allows and does not guarantee to bed for that number. Please read the bed description thoroughly. This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 6 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per additional guest, this includes children infants.
Rentals are Saturday - Saturday during Peak and Holiday season, 7-night minimum.
If you plan on docking a boat, ensure to verify first that your boat will be able to dock appropriately. Should you notice a boat lift, be advised that it is not for guest use.
This home is pet friendly (maximum of 2 dogs only) with a non-refundable pet fee of $250+ tax per pet, per week. We regret to inform that we cannot accommodate cats.
Pool heat is available at any time of the year for a fee of $250+ tax per week before the reservation start date. If requested after check-in, additional fees may apply.

We had a very relaxing vacation at this home. It's what we both were looking forward to. Shopping and dining were a 5-10 minute drive from the home. Very open interior main room, with lots of room to breathe. The pool and tiki hut were both a plus to escape the heat of the day. Would definitely recommend this home.

We really enjoyed the tiki hut, the dock on the canal where we saw manatees every afternoon, the view of the beach from the upstairs balcony and the back porch where we ate every meal. Beautiful Sombrero Beach is a short walk away. We’re looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful home away from home.

We stayed at the property for a few weeks this summer. It was the perfect getaway!..walking distance to the beach and just a short drive to several very good restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

Only stay here if you love seeing the sunrise and sunset everyday!! Kon Tiki is our favorite hideaway to vacation at in Marathon. For being in such a prime location, it is quiet and serene. I love taking a morning walk to the beach where I always see dolphins swimming around. We’ve come to expect an extra guest every-time, a manatee by the dock â¤ï¸. The property makes it easy to bring a boat, with quick access to the ocean. I’ve had family trips and girls getaway trips here. And it never disappoints! The house is well-equipped, and having a Publix nearby is a major convenience My husband appreciates!

We booked this Coco Plum rental two days before check-in after another Airbnb fell through. We were so grateful for the excellent communication and flexibility. It?s a boater and fisher?s paradise?well-equipped dock, big freezer, and trailer space. Conveniently located near the Atlantic, Sombrero Beach, and restaurants. We?ll definitely return for lobster mini season. Thanks for making this week unforgettable!

The house is very nice and comfortable. It was clean and cool when we arrived. Beds and linens were clean and comfy. Plenty of towels and extra covers. All rooms had working TVs with cable and Netflix. The pool was great after boating all day. Nice hose by the dock, front driveway, and patio. Washer and dryer worked great, and we loved the 4 bikes available to use. We will definitely come back next year!
Property where we stayed was nice and the Coco Plum staff worked on a couple of items for us.

If we ever come back to the Keys in the future, we will likely look at renting this property. We all were very happy with this rental property. We really like staying in Marathon and felt that this property was a great place to stay and easy to get wherever we wanted to go.
